There are currently over 1200 students on roll with approximately 250 in the 6th Form. Its current Headteacher is Alan Powell. Other senior staff include Mr Richard Kempson as Deputy Head Teacher, Mr Michael Pooley as Assistant Head Teacher, Mr William Roney as head of year 10, Mrs Sian Noon as Head of Year 9, Mr Ciaran Treloar as Head of Year 8, Mrs Susan Smith as head of year 7, Mrs Lucy Chapman as head of year 11 and finally Mr Barry Howard as Head of the Sixth Form. The college works very closely with its family of primary feeder schools (Punnetts town, Broad Oak, Burwash, Cross in Hand, Dallington, Five Ashes, Old Heathfield, Herstmonceux, Mayfield, Maynards Green and Parkside. Founded in 1950, the school was initially envisioned to include an average of 800 students, but the college now finds itself reaching an average enrollment of 1200 students between the ages of 11–18 years old. In 2003 Heathfield Community College was awarded Specialist status in the Visual and Performing Arts. This provided funding for the college to be used for The Arts. When the college was built it was designed so that in the event of a nuclear war it could easily be turned into a hospital at short notice. Hence the corridors are particularly wide in the college. Heathfield Community College is separated into two sections, Secondary School and Sixth Form college. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Heathfield Community College」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
